What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. All of them let a site remember something between page loads.
What we use
- Strictly necessary. Used to keep the site working, remember your language choice and protect the contact form from automated abuse. These cannot be switched off within the site.
- Analytics, aggregated. If enabled, these count page views and referrers so we know which research is read. Data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies. No cross-site behavioural tracking. No data broker pixels. We do not build audience segments and we do not sell traffic data, because the site is not funded by advertising.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the language switcher and the contact form. Clearing cookies removes any preference you have already set.
Third-party content
Where a page links to an external review platform or register, that destination sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those files and recommend reading the policy on the site concerned.

If the set of cookies used on this site changes, this page is updated and the revision date below is changed with it.
