This policy explains what TradeDecode does with personal data. It is short because we collect very little.

Who we are
TradeDecode is an independent publication producing company profiles built from public reference data and reader feedback. We are the controller for personal data submitted through this website. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Only two categories.
- Data you send us. The research request form asks for a name, a phone number and an email address. Nothing else is required, and we do not use hidden fields.
- Technical data. Standard server records such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp, generated automatically whenever a page is served.
Why we use it
Form data is used to answer your request and for nothing else. We do not build marketing profiles, we do not enrich submissions with third-party data, and we never sell contact details. Technical data is used to keep the site available and to understand which pages are read.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit the form, and on legitimate interest for the security and stability of the site. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are retained for up to 12 months after the last message exchanged, then deleted. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Sharing
We share personal data only with the service providers required to run the site, namely hosting and email delivery. Those providers act on our instructions. We do not transfer data to advertisers, brokers or data resellers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in portable form. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections and access to submissions is limited to the people who answer them. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial information through the form.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new update date. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
